When are we going to stop letting them kill us?

In Portland, the graffiti should say, When are we going to stop letting all these homeless people run around loose everywhere?
With all of those mass shootings only in January (37) like those in California, what does it take to show all those morons in Washington and in eacch states legislatures to BAN guns?
No more hypocrite reasons as «mental health issues» or «a good man with a gun can go against a bad man with a gun» etc...
The lack of control over those who want to purchase guns is also a flaw in the system.
In Canada and many democratic countries even in many other countries, owning a gun is forbidden and we have no such numerous mass shootings.
In Switzerland, the military service is obligatory and each soldiers are keeping their weapons in their homes. BUT without any amunition.. Those will be provided JUST IF the country would face a war situation. In that country NO mass shooting for decades.
