In Memoriam Phil

It is with a sad heart that I make this post. A link to Phil's blog is in my right-hand column if you'd like to read the note his niece, Sarah, wrote. Milleson, thank you for letting me know.

OMG! This is such a sad and bad news.

I've written a comment to his niece on his website tonight.

I've known Phil for so many years, since 2002 when he had some of his first website and we did write to each other and exchanged so many pics and ideas too.

RIP dear Phil, you who was so generous to give us such nice Peace messages and heart warming words too.
Hope that God will make you a nice place in heaven and make you the nicest cups of tea that you liked so much here on Earth.

I'm going to bed and my prayers will go for Phil.

JiEL - I didn't really know him, but I could tell he was a gentle man with a very kind heart.

What the fuck? I am in shock. He told us he had a bad cold. No fucking way.

What happened?

How kind of you to share this. He seemed very sweet... and that's very sweet of his niece.

GF - I only know what his niece said in her note, sorry. Big Whack Attack has done a very nice post about Phil.

@ GF - The bronchitis turned to pneumonia. I don't know if most people were aware of his age, but that contributed to the rather rapid decline. He'll be missed by people from around the globe who read his blog. More so by those of us who communicated with him via email on a fairly regular basis. - Pat

Oh how very sad! I did not know him except through his blog. His art... his presence will be missed.

I stopped following him a while ago (never into the young twink photos he kept posting) but his wisdom and spirituality were definitely spot on. But I am still saddened and shocked at this news because he did add kindness and beauty to this world, and that will always be mourned when lost.

R I P, Phil.
