That last one is what makes most folks angry. Think of the money they'd save on lobbyists and political contributions if they paid their workers a decent salary.
The last one is true in USA that money buys political power. Just looking Musk going on he is working to be part of the White House if DonOld wins and this without being elected,
Here in Canada, we can give money to our parties (we have 5) but the limit is $500 even for corporations or companies.
Many years ago when it was in law, some corporarions tried to go over it by telling their workers to give $500 to one party and reemboursed them. This was illegal the y were prosecuted in courts.
Just wait when they get to privatize Social Security, all the hidden fees and penalties they'll charge, along with investing Soc Sec monies in companies they own. And when they bankrupt Soc Sec, they'll then cry for a Federal taxpayer bailout while demanding a salary raise and increased retirement benefits for their CEO’s. -Rj
