Pat - A friend that used to live in a houseboat in SanFran said that those really are "basements".

ChrisA - I wanted to be one in Jr. High but I wasn't good at math.

Nice to see those houses with so many windows BUT how about the electricity bill for air conditioning because in summer down in USA it's now an inferno.

And for us Canadians, heating those not so isolate houses would be very expensive.
I knew a family who had such numerous windows house and the winter electriciy bill was astronomical and that was way back in the 70's even if here our hydro electricity is the cheapest in the world.

For sure cleaning some of those high windows could be discouraging but what is to think of is how money it takes to put some curtains or shades all over them.
So many windows and bye bye my intemacy to go around naked etc..
