The Republicans have made it clear they will get rid of everything the Dems have managed to accomplish. The plan is to regain power and stay there while keeping people uneducated and poor.

ReplyDeleteUNITED States are becoming DIVIDED States and I would be surprised that ALL those deep RED states would separate from the Blue States in the future.
Isn't it what Texas and Florida, to name only those two, are doing to put in place many far right politics that are no more in phase with the Constitution?
They show it by limiting Freedoms and Rights of minorities and sadly more to keep poeple uneducated and ignorant which makes it easier to govern.
According to one survey, support for Republicans among voters over 65 has dropped fifteen percentage points in the last two months. There's a good reason why Social Security used to be called "the third rail" in politics. Older people pay close attention to anything that threatens it. I know I do.

ReplyDeleteOn public opinion, polls, while imperfect, are the best data we have. If they didn't usually provide fairly reliable information, political campaigns wouldn't spend millions on them.
