You've posted very good ones for the USA way of life.
ReplyDeleteCapitalism and egocentric are US values that are making more wealthy people and also poorest ones too.
Just the education point is, to me, the saddest as many Americans cannot afford to have a college or university degree and also even a high school diploma.
Another point on education and how USA don't give it much a priority of issues, is that those teachers are often under paid in comparaison to our teachers here in Canada.
I know it because my American friend, John K., is a retired teacher and told me how his wages were not that big.
I also ask me how a so wealthy, rich, country cannot make its population more profiting of that wealth.
The answer is easy to find when you look at the way those «neandertal» GOP representative and followers are seeing their «1950's USA» and are so scared of the word «socialism».
JiEL - Yes, there are many backward-thinking people in this country. Too many hold political office.
ReplyDeleteI think the more common sense we talk, the more people will come to understand what the real issues are in this country. We will stop pointing fingers at the less fortunate and start demanding answers from those who have corrupted our system.
