If you love washing windows then that first house is the one for you. WOW, an eye-popping 31 count, and in the 50s/60s area of technology, that's a lot of single pane glass and not very energy efficient. Nice layout though.
ReplyDeleteMy second partner grew up in a house almost identical to #2. The only difference being was that there wasn't an attached garage; there was an attached carport in front of the bedrooms. Otherwise it's identical.
ReplyDeleteThe architect has almost but not quite got the idea of a master bath. Plan 1213 has two baths off the hallway next to each other, an odd design. Plan 1217 has one bath off the hallway but also accessible from one of the bedrooms. The recreation room in plan 1216 is interesting, but there are bizarre interior windows between the rec room and the dining room, which makes it look like the rec room and garage were added to an existing plan and the architect forgot to remove those windows.
ReplyDeleteI would live on 1217
