  1. Looks like part Corvett and Buick.

  2. My dad, his brothers and their grandfather attended the 1954 GM Motorama at the Civic Auditorium in their hometown of San Francisco.
As the GM Motorama was the hottest ticket in town in the 1950’s.
The Buick Wildcat II was based on a Corvette as were the Corvette Nomad wagon, and the Pontiac Bonneville Special coupe. The Wildcat was designed by Ned Nickels and had a 100" wheelbase, Buick’s Dynaflow automatic transmission and a 332 ci/220 hp V-8. Most dream cars were basically static models with no engines or drivetrains, though others like the Wildcat were fully driveable. The dream cars were also the top attraction along with the new production models. Cadillac had the most crowds as they introduced a much bigger Cadillac than the year before. Their grandfather felt cars were getting too big and liked the smaller dream cars.
