Un bon nombre de ses illustrations ont circulé parmi ses amis et les collectionneurs, car ils avaient été censurés par les autorités et ne purent être commercialisés avant le milieu des années 1950. Ses dessins illustraient de magnifiques libres homoérotiques qui sont aujourd’hui très précieux et rares.
