This year is pretty much it. If we can't get the GOP knocked down a minority in Congress, we have no more America. The oligarchs will have total control.
ReplyDeleteI am frustrated with our Rhode Island governor, Dan McKee (D). We have legislature on the books to impose "wealth taxes" on multi-millionaires. Our state budget is actually showing a strength, and his comment on last nights news cast was "Well, we may not need to have that wealth tax if the budget remains stable". My jaw hit the table. What an idiot.
That first statement of yours: Yep. If we lose the midterms, the US is finished.

I'm not sure of the future of USA as a real democratic country to be up for its own people as in the Constitution of «We the People».
ReplyDeleteThis future could be with some hope if you could get rid of Christian-politic, greed people and racism to name only few.
That hate of «socialism» shows how ignorant some Americans are because many of your politics are socialist actions, mainly those to help the wealthiest.
And BTW, your astronomical debt is bad news for decades to come and your children will be stuck with it as it's the fault of oldies with no conscience of what they are doing.
Sorry, but the future of USA seems to me not quite a good one...
