  1. That first one is bang on the money. The USA is causing chaos around the planet - every time your orange pillock types some random word salad on social media the rest of the world reacts. Ignoring as much of that as possible might help.

  2. I can't understand, well yes I can, why Americans are so tax averse. Most of it started with Ronald Reagan by making the government the boogy man. 45 years later, with FOX and the like, people are terrified and loathsome of it. Contrast that to Canada, for example, where the citizens feel that Government can do good things. Hmm...

    1. You nailed it. I'm a Canadian and for sure I am paying my fair share of income tax and other taxes but here we understand that our levels of government are budgeting most of the time to help us on any levels of our lives.
We never experienced things like your government shut downs because our budget system for our public offices are set once and for all in each year budget settle by our ministry of finance.
We never complain like for our universal healthcare system which is financed by our annual $735 on our income tax report.
I can go see any doctor and pay $0. Even my 5 days surgery for my colon cancer tumor in a hospital and the follow ups by my surgeon did cost me $0.....

  3. It would be good if the rest of the developed world could ignore his ridiculous tweets...and they are beginning to do just that to move on without the U.S.
So far, only Canadians, like JiEL, seem to be reaching out to the rest of us sane folks in the U.S. to assure us they understand that we are not at fault. Thank you!

  6. What do you call a billionaire after taxing away half his fortune? Still richer than you will ever be.

  7. Part of the problem is that the USA government fails to promote good things done with tax money. I do not mind paying taxes IF they pay for things of good value to the general public, and we can be effective saying a collective NO to stupid expenditures. All we really hear is "misuse" of tax money for programs that concentrate wealth and avoid funding useful things, and infrastructure for the future.

    1. AlvordSky, you're right, I agree, to a certain extent. What I find is that the government does not do a good job informing us (citizenry) of the costs. They also don't do a good enough job explaining the give and take. Even many of those involved with DODGE were impressed with how well departments were running.

Then of course, they were fired.
