DeleteSuch castle-homes require specialists who demand top dollar. Imagine if you had to re-roof the place or upgrade it. Not to mention a team of gardeners to maintain the grounds and the property taxes equivalent to what many people earn a year !
In Britain and Europe many owners of such homes turn them into hotels, B&B’s or museums. Others sell them or abandon them.
