ReplyDeleteLyle Frisby, Bob Mizer, Bruce Bellas and other physique photographers took great risks to publish such photos before landmark court cases of free speech and expression in the 1960’s.
ReplyDeleteMizer was arrested and imprisoned on obscenity charges numerous times, Frisby’s health was undermined by imprisonment. Others had film and camera equipment seized and never returned. Today we are going back to those fascistic times, as many take freedom of speech and expression for granted, as these freedoms are being undermined by the current regime.
