I remember the days when a household shared one bathroom and not everyone had their own ensuite. My frickin' house in Seattle has 4 crappers! But, I guess it's like affordable cars: the builders are catering to the luxury market so that even suburan homes are enormous.

Back in the day Uncle Rex inspected each young man that applied for residency, he insisted on it !
He much preferred the athletic types.:)
When the young men were admitted for residency, Uncle Rex made sure they exercised, ate a healthy diet and sunbathed au naturel when the weather permitted. At the Courtney, Uncle Rex would host weekly gay salons with discussions of art and culture and a gourmet meal with an open bar. And of course introduce his young men in residence to his professional and sophisticated friends. At the Courtland, Uncle Rex would host summer barbecues and everyone would watch sports, the news and entertainment shows on Uncle Rex’s top of the line DuMont tv set or Uncle Rex would pack the young men into his 1950 DeSoto Suburban 8-passenger sedan and off they’d go to secluded beaches to frolic and swim in the nude !
Uncle Rex left such an impression on the community, one they have never forgotten ! :-)
