ReplyDeleteThey use to have mermaids at the submarine ride at Disneyland in the 1960’s. The gals were informed not to get too close to the subs, as they could be sucked into the subs propellers. Eventually sun exposure and the chlorinated water took such a toll on their hair and skin Disney had to end the mermaids at the sub ride.
2- They have wild parrots loose all over Orange County CA. A company was delivering parrots to pet stores when the cage carrying two dozen of the parrots fell off the back of the truck and the cage popped open releasing almost all of them ! OC has had wild parrots flying over the skies, nesting in the trees and breeding like rabbits ever since. :)
