Airfloat Travel Trailer
Airfloat travel trailers were a brand of vintage trailers produced from the 1930s to 1957, primarily by the Airfloat Coach Manufacturing Co., founded by Omar Suttles. The company produced a variety of travel trailers ranging in length from 17 to 45 feet. They were a notable competitor to Airstream, particularly in the 1950s, known for their distinctive aluminum bodies with corrugated panels and porthole windows. I'm intrigued with drag queens, and in the early years of this blog I used to post pictures of them. I'm impressed how a man's persona can be changed with a little makeup. (All right, a lot of makeup.) Most of those images came from a blog in Florida that I used to visit, long-time forgotten now. These images I snatched from Mistress Maddie. I hope she doesn't mind...
