ReplyDeleteYEP!! Problem is that the GOP has forgotten what it's like to think for themselves or to produce ANY good legislation. Even if it might be good for the general public who voted for them! As they continue to vote for them, they perceive they are doing good to do what they have been doing.
DeleteFor us like in Canada and other democratic countries in the world, what MAGA calls sadly "leftist or liberal or socialism" is just a normal way we do politics.
ReplyDeleteWhen USA will finally wake up and can see that being a social-democracy means that the main goal of any government is to take care of its people not only to enrich the 1% of most wealthy.
Canada is what the USA used to be, as to normally-oriented. I thank them for remaining SANE!
ReplyDeleteHere's what the ballroom could later be repurposed as . . . an enforced detention center and school for wayward MAGA enablers to go back to school and LEARN what the USA was originally supposed to be and how it progressed from those earlier times through the end of the 20th Century. Learning World History, USA History, USA Government (and WHY it is the way it was!!). Enjoying the art and music of those ereas, too. Including ALL enablers and justices involved in tearing down our social democracy for any reason or orientation. Including the formerly-powerful "think tank" operatives. For their "good behaviour" and "work-release", they can work in the soup kitchens and with the homeless, then return to their cells afterward. Maybe even proving "You CAN fix stupid"? Maybe not!
We are a republic, not a democracy !

France is a republic too and is also a democratic country as many other ones too... Saying that you're a republic, not a democracy, is contradictory more when you like to say yourself the beacon of democracy in the world.
DeleteI saw this twisted kind of idea when a guy on internet told me that I wasn't a Christian because I'm a Catholic Church man. WOOOO! Catholic is the first Christian group in the Roman empire than came from it centuries after all of many other Bible based Christian Churches.
