That is why Boni didn't released them right away....it gave her and Patel time to "wash" them. Otherwise trump would have never changed his tune.
ReplyDeleteI think that if a washed/redacted version of the files was a possible way to make them public they would have done it already, giving Trump yet another reason to brag about and reinforce his MAGA base support.
ReplyDeleteI think - these are just my two cents - that he's now urging for their release while waiting for Bondi to quickly launch said investigation into Democrats so that he can further declare "Look, I was all into releasing the files, but my hands are now tied. Let's tour Big Beautiful DOJ work for the sake of America!"
Which will of course take months. At least until next November's mid-terms elections.

Do we really trust that the Justice Dept and Bondi haven't scrubbed the Epstein files to remove Trump's name? Why did he so suddenly agree to their release when he's been fighting it before and calling it a Democratic plot and fake news.
