As usual the indulgent, sanctimonious and selfish conservative American Catholics are up in arms over the encyclical Dilexi te of Pope Leo XIV and his call to help and serve the poor and others on the periphery of society. Sick how so called religious people can have a hatred of the poor in complete defiance of Christ’s teachings and their own religious leader. Just a matter time when these willfully ignorant conservative Catholics accuse and demonize Pope Leo XIV of being an anti-christ just as they did to Pope Francis. They damn the poor and will end up damning themselves ! -Rj
Unfortunately, there will be more people like these and more billionaires as the months roll on. Immense wealth being hoarded by the few could do so much to eliminate homelessness and poverty. We live in a "I made my billions, the rest of you are on your own to make your fortune" society.
So much for "faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."
