ReplyDeleteYep, those birds missed some great chances, but they probably also knew that poop on water disappears immediately, so why bother "making their territory".
ReplyDeleteThe mother opossum was doing well to take her kids to a newer location. The kids were really hanging on for dear life, especially the one at the back.

ReplyDeleteYears ago my grandfather would drive up to the family cabin in Vermont from New Jersey and along the way we would stop at one of the many roadside pancake houses in New England back then. Nothing better than silver dollar size pancakes with real maple syrup.
Many of those roadside pancake houses are long gone.
