1959 Rambler Ambassador Wagon
The grill and rear-door trim is different between the blue and bronze examples.
The illustration with the hunters and guns shows the difference. One is the Rambler Super Cross Country, the other is the upscale Ambassador Super Cross Country. I noticed the difference, too.
The standard Rambler had a 108" inch wheelbase, the Ambassador’s was 117". 1969-70 an aunt had the standard Rambler wagon, all black with red interior and an in-line six motor with pushbutton automatic transmission. It was roomy, very reliable and easy on gas at 30-35 mpg. (when gas was 30 cents a gallon!) The Ambassador was built by AMC to replace Hudson and Nash. Actual mock ups of Ambassadors with Hudson and Nash badging, different body trims and interiors were built, then given the ax. -Rj
