2025.0508.0001-Thursday...
The diseased, parasitic mind of a man in the highest office of the land is more dangerous than any alien/immigrant, here legally or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, not of my choosing, but interesting to see how the "other side" is oriented. A radio talk show host asked as guest to talk about Biden's BBC interview. Their point was how Democrats put him up to be the best choice. The clip was labored and show in his speech, which they took to be his normal speech speed. About how he tripped going up the stairs to Air Force 1, etc. Well . . . we'll see how THEY do those things when THEY might get to be that age!!! Biden just needs more hormones! HE'S an "older man" and those things just happen!
ReplyDeleteBiden was not the only target, but also other older people in DC who cling to power. Thing is, to me, NOT MANY IF ANY younger legislators can and have wanted to step-up on either side. Wondering who is going to fill the vacuum on both sides? YET, the younger members needed to learn moderation in their views to gain wider acceptance, rather being easy targets for the allegedly-evil "progressive" orientation by many. Yes, some of their enthusiasm needed to be moderated and controlled, but "progressive" means they are aimed toward the FUTURE rather than backward, as most Rs seem to be looking to. IF Rs want to regain past pleasures in their advancing age, why are they not focusing on that now??? Rather than getting tangled up in current chaos AND better-trying to control it??? They have been blockading for years, rather than seeking to really lead us out of where we now are. Result is that "progressive" and non-chaotic Democrats arrive just in time to keep the nation from kaputing into recession or depression.
Democrats need to find their solid footing, universally, to move this nation forward in so many ways. Including some that Rs don't want to pay for, then or in the future. Much of where we now are is due to Rs not wanting to fund anything, or marginally fund it!!! Rs "leadership" gets us into messes. Democrats' leadership gets us out of them . . . that's history.
Rs NEED to distance themselves from the current president and start to solve real problems, rather than invent problems which only they can allegedly fix, but have not. Work with others (remember the school notes "Plays well with others"??) to get things done. To possibly whittle-down money spent to more than they might like, but less than Democrats originally wanted to spend. Middle ground that can yield great results for all. The NATION and each party, too.
To me, T, JDV, the Heritage Foundation, and the Federalists Society are NOT, repeat NOT, the future of the Republican party or this nation. But that's who is running things now, especially the last two, plus some very rich R donors! Remember how the Rs seek to demonize similar Democrat donors, like Soros? As they seek to not mention that THEY have similar people?? Yep, they do, hidden behind the smoke.
Mango Mussolini has always been nuts. It's Miller telling him what to do when it comes to the nastiest shit here, elsewhere it's Putin holding some type of compremat over him, and the Saudis and Israel promising to let him build mega-resorts.
ReplyDeleteFor many years or decades even centuries, MONEY is leading USA no matter your Constitution beginning with «We the People» which was the main goal of your founding fathers to have a country where the PEOPLE have the freedom of electing their leaders.
ReplyDeleteIn 2025, you've achieved the top, sommet, sky limit of that crazyness to have put the most incompetent wealthy leader who is thiking that he is a king and supported by all of those US oligarches who are now the new slaves owners by the way they are holding captive your people in the web of technology.
A new era in USA where the freedom of speech and other liberties are now at stake.
Happy Victory Day!
ReplyDeleteIn a NORMAL world, T's comment to Billy Bush should have been enough to send up red flags, not unlike what Al Franken's non-contact picture did. But it didn't. Most probably saw that as "guy talk" or "a joke", when it really wasn't meant to be either. Yet that is how it was presented, on a hidden hot microphone.
ReplyDeleteIn a NORMAL world, the "Pope Picture" should have been widely talked bad about, but it didn't seem to be. Most people would not have done something like that out of respect for that position and the person who holds it. Not T!
He was seen by some as a "tool" to get what they want. First it was the evangelicals to put more conservative judges into the court system, all the way to the top. He did that gladly, using the Federalist Society suggested judges. Federalist Society? Few had heard of that place, until then! Made out to be the highest order of judges, BUT with their own AGENDA of looking at our government and now it was run.
Similar with the Heritage Society. A conservative think tank with an agenda. Another "document" of how they feel government should be run, "Project 2025". T did not read it, he let others do that (for reasons discovered during the first term), so he was probably telling the truth when he said he did not know what was in it, as his attention span prevented him from reading anything that long. So he then put many of its authors in various government positions, to enact it with his blessings.
T has been about stretching boundaries in his earlier life. After getting the attention of many of "the little people" with his famous "You're fired!" comments, THEY are now the ones suffering the most from his policies and orientations, yet they'll never admit it. "Suffering the pain to make things better in the long run", which is not a bad orientation, except the "pain" will be forever, rather than "short-term". One of his tricks, by observation. Always playing the victim in the process, one way or another. BTAIM
In current times, he's stretching the limits of Separation of Powers and Separation of Church and State. In the direction of "authoritarian" rather than a stronger "democracy". I suspect the Founding Fathers perceived they had enough protections against such things, but if the Federal Marshalls work for the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch has not real enforcement authority in our CURRENT world situation.
In SO MANY ways, T has stretched things in his advantage, when will SOMEBODY decide that "Enough is enough!" The things that prior Presidents did when they were elected to that office (putting all security holdings into a blind trust is ONE), T has managed to not do, and got away with it, so far. "So far" means nobody is apparently going to challenge those things. The "lines" not meant to be crossed are jagged rather than straight, it seems. So they have become "meaningless", as a result.
The MOST preferred thing would be for Rs to look around and realize that T's time is limited, as THEY can be in office for years to come. So they need to be building their own Golden Parachute to accomplish that. By Gerrymandering district lines, for example, BUT also doing lots of good things in the process! Let them build a budget that really works for everybody, even if it might include some "taking care of people" segments. Segments that NONE of them will need, but the people in their districts can use.
Will they do that? Nahhhh. They are far too focused on seeing if their knees still bend and learning to not French Kiss "the ring" or other things.
Cdadbr - Good observations and good explanation of what you see. Thanks.
