ReplyDeleteThe billionaire-owned mass media definitely don't want people talking about him. They were shocked when they realized how many people consider him a hero, and when all the scolding and condescension by their best pet talking heads and commentators didn't change that. No matter. The blogosphere and alternative media will keep the story alive.
ReplyDeleteWhile I do not condone his actions, I applaud Luigi for bringing to light the disastrous state of healthcare in this country. We live in unsettled and explosive times now. If the problems that plague us in our daily lives cannot be resolved by government legislation and regulation, individuals will find a way to attempt to right the wrong. Violent acts are not off the table. The CEOs of companies that continue to make billions in profit at the expense of the public are symbolic of the injustice being done, and there may be others like Luigi to attempt a solution to their perceived problem, legally or illegally.
