That last one: "In perpetuity."
ReplyDeleteONE day, Republicans will "connect the dots", when they get a new pencil. Being so conservative, they don't want to spend any money on a new one. Which also tends to indicate their lack of mental ability to do it "in their heads".
ReplyDeleteShould a kindly Democrat administration offer them one, at no cost, as a part of a government literacy program, they might publicly shun it, even demonize the program, but secretly use it. THEN they discover what a massively flaky situation (i.e., "web:) they have knowingly maneuvered themselves into. No easy way out, so they "claim" to not use the pencil. Also secretly realizing their abilities to get out of their mess is not a part of their recent DNA, so they are trapped, not being equipped to do anything else than "blockade and resist" change. THEN, they realize that they need a new generaiton of "common-sense doers" rather than "complainers" to get their party out of the RUT they are currently in.
Government needs to work for the majority of the populace, even it the demographics might shift over time. NOT just for the "elites" in government who are also USCitizens. Such financial "elites" do not need the many government protective agencies to look out for their financial welfare. High rent or interest rates will not affect them, but can definitely affect somebody making $1000.00/week gross pay.
Cdadbr - Or someone making $1000 a month. I know several people in that bracket.
