If you have faith and it helps you lead a fulfilling life, good for you.
If you have faith and you hurt, consider questioning that faith.
If you don't have a faith and live a fulfilling life, good for you too.
No cosmic, unseen being will save or sacrifice the faithful or the faithless from a fatal car accident. That will happen with many variables including time, place, weather, road conditions, automobile maintenance, tire wear and tear, a deer in the road, a drunk driver, an avalanche, etc.
The faithful and the faithless will suffer the same consequence under the same circumstances. I'm sure the 3 members of The Nelsons Gospel music group had faith but were killed with 4 other people in a plane crash in Wyoming last Friday. We should question why they weren't spared and not except the answer that it was the the will of some unseen being and not to be questioned. I'm sorry for their loss and the loss of all people who die in accidents and leave families with a huge chunk ripped out of their lives.
