I always get a chuckle out of these "pictures of the future" from days of yore.
2nd-to-last picture: Jesus, think of the noise those giant fans would make if that thing were technically feasible. You'd have people with rifles taking potshots at them as they flew overhead because they were sick of being deafened and their cats and dogs freaking out.
