Religions are pathetic!
Wouldn't it be nice to drive by the churches where you live and see "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS" and "EVERYTHING MUST GO" signs plastered across the doors instead of on local businesses and mall stores? (Yes I know that the last part is due to the change in buying habits and the rapid increase in [convenient] online shopping)
It will happen when people stop filling the offerings plate(tithing) and spend their money of something more beneficial.

Here in Canada and more in Province of Quéec where I live, have got rid of any religion(s) from any politic systems.
Since the 60's when Pierre Elliot Trudeau in Ottawa said that the governement has no place in people's bedroom, many things changed and even gay rights since then became no more an issue.
With the renewal of our Constitution in 1982 he did put in it the rights for all Canadian to live freely our lives no matter race, sex orientation or religion.
As a result here, many churches are in bankcuptcy and are now empty.
So all of those buildings are going under demolition or, for the best of them, are transformed in condos, libraries, gymanisiums or place for people to join in social activities etc...
More than time that USA to update in the 21st century and see how religion is stopping your evolution and is keeping your society in the 18th century darkness.
Just as there are pornographers of sex, there are pornographers of religion.
Infuriating how so called ‘Christian’s’ prostitute the image of Christ and pimp the word of God :( -Rj
