#3 I agree!

I was disgusted by the recent ruling in Washington state about how the Founders, of course, expected there to be technological changes to weaponry.
What a leap of logic that one was.

These were wealthy landowners who expected a nation of "Gentlemen Farmers".

No.2 is also part of USA's double standards.

MAGA Retrumplicans are against any governement regulations but put their dirty nose in women's freedom.
But see as a good thing to limit alcool to young under 21yo, to the right to have a driver licence or an alcool licence to be able to sell some etc.. etc... etc.

BUT don't touch to your Second Musket Amendment to purchase leathal weapons and even carry them in public....

@LeftField - Being a proud but not zealous Washingtonian, can you let me know to which law you are referring, I need to see that in context to this subject. I do know that Washington State ranks 10th in the nation for gun restrictions and safety laws. Other than the metro areas west of the Cascade Mountains and the Columbia river basin, the rest of the state is deep red and resents most laws passed by the blue majority that represent us in the state legislatures and nationally. Thank you.

@Milleson! Yes. Gladly. The Cowlitz County sided with the gun sellers, arguing that the signers of the Constitution considered the advancement of technology and would therefore not ban extra clips.

Thanks LeftField, that answered my question. Cowlitz County is one of the deep red counties, mostly rural forest and farmland. They always go red for county representation and voted for #45 both times. I live in Clark county directly below Cowlitz and Clark has been a republican stronghold for years but is purple now and getting bluer with the influx of people moving here from Oregon and California. Our county representative elected in 2022 is a democrat and doing a good job for us. Tides do turn, sometimes it just takes longer than you wish.
