  1. I was always confused how a company named "Bike" was the main company building jocks. Much less the dominant force for that garment. Considering all of the different brands and types of male underwear, back then.

  2. @Cdadbr, the jockstrap was made for bicycle messengers 150 years ago. It was designed to keep their testicles safe from bouncing around on cobblestone streets. I believe the name comes from there.

What I'm curious about: do women find jockstraps as sexy as gay men do? And do straight men find them sexy as well? I've often said that the jockstrap is the only piece of male attire that women cannot wear.

  3. @LeftField - Your comment made me very inquisitive and Googling jockstrap opened many websites about the history of the jock. Interesting reading for all of us afficionados of the pouch and straps. In answer to your query, it isn't that women can't wear a jockstrap, it simply would serve no purpose. There is a garment for women called the jillstrap or pelvic protector and serves the same purpose as a jock for women's use in sports activities. As to the sexy issue, women have many more choices for sexy, stimulating underwear than men, but from what I've read, women are more cerebral in these matters and aren't as visually stimulated by such things as men. It also seems that today's "straight men" are more accepting of appreciating another man's physique in and out of clothing.

As for me, the jockstrap has been a constant source of mystery and intrigue, from those first days in freshmen gym class when I had so little to fill the pouch but could appreciate the other boys who were more mature. Even today I see the jock and wonder what delicious prizes are contained in that pouch. As for the straps, they are the perfect picture frame to contain a work of art unequalled in my eyes.

  4. You know me Ricko......i love how a jockstrap frames the cakes!!!! Gives me an instant hard on.

@Milleson....I think your right....I have straight friends who check out men and have no problems saying their body is hot and giving compliments to men with nice bodies and even complementing on the cocks. It's refreshing.

I do like me a strong strapping man. All of these certainly fit the bill.

  6. @Millson, thanks for that information. In some of my explorations, I bought a jock at a discount store one day. It was something of a sexual exploration "thing" for me back then. As much as I wanted to like it and to feel sexy wearing it, it imprinted my cock with its rough texture. Not a fan of that as an alternative to normal briefs. A main reason for them appeared to be the quickness with which a dump could be made, during a game. LOL I don't feel like I was ever built for them. T-backs were good, though, other than getting used to the feeling of "the rear strap" against the backside. Which depended upon the brand. Later started to freeball/Commando and really felt "like a man". A jock does frame a nice pair of glutes, though, and offer rear access anytime at all.
