Sad, but true.

True. Every damn one of them.

I'm glad Cox left the state and got the medical treatment she needed. You think the people (women) of TX will wise up now and vote out the controlling Republikkkans?

I don't really understand why anyone would live in that state. Of course if you white, uptight, and out of sight then I guess I would understand that and maybe more of those type people should be moving there!

(white, uptight and out of sight: ole tampax joke LOL)

See what is happening in Texas and you're looking to USA's future IF tRump and the Retrumplikkkans would take charge of the White House and the two chambers.

All kind of civil rights are now at stake in the near future because those rights are at the mercy of a corupted SCOTUS and the influence of religious Evangelical extremists.

In Canada as many other democratic countries, we don't have such issues as our «civil rights» as part of our new (1982) Constitution in our «Canadian Charter of Rights and Liberties». Racism and sexism are not in our way of life here.

Abortion is even paid by our universal health care system.

Conservatives have moved there for what they think is Nirvana, wait until they have to pay Texas size property taxes and state and local 'user' fees. And like Florida, their property insurance rates are another issue.
Then of course Texas has a LOON for a governor, winter snaps with no electricity and outrageous utility rates are his idea of fine living.
They will find their Nirvana to be more like Hades. :)
