I never had the pleasure of being inside
one of these split-level types.

I've never seen one of those split-levels anywhere. Kind of nice, though. Gives a better sense of separation.

My first house I bought in 1978 was a 12f X 70f mobile home but without a split level part. We called it our «doll house»..

In the living room there was a nice fiere place which was nice in the freezing winter time.

We could buy it then for $12 000...

Thinking of what kind of tow vehicle that would be used, which would be "fancy enough" to go with such luxury mobile accommodations. Considering that most did good to have 250 horsepower back then. PLUS maneuvering them around. "The Big Trailer" version two.
