These last two images make me think of Mothra, the famous Japanese monster.
I don't usually like bugs of certain kinds, but when you see some of them up close like these you can actually see how pretty they are and they're interesting details.
Mothra came to mind when you posted that gif of Godzilla and Hydra... love these pics. I find insects fascinating.
