The first one is great, and the last one couldn't be more true. Every time you have a point to make with one of them and then they can't come up with an answer, it's always I'll pray for you.

#1: I am afraid that the interest in money appeared with the archaic religions invented by men, well before the hypocrisy of the Catholic trade of Indulgences from the 12th century onwards (besides, the churches, like any institution of power, have always favored sound and tripping money over bartering, which is nevertheless the oldest and healthiest way of trading...)
The equation has always been the same whatever the times or continent: religion is a mean of power, and power needs money to sustain itself. The rest is History repeating itself.

Love that man stating simple truths on his bench: and in this one meme he's so right - as he always is. I other words: if you do not like the way my armpits smell, why don’t you go and stick your nose elsewhere?! Ha! Ha!

By the way: as I was in the tram going to work this morning I san two women on a plaza before a signpost reading "Free Biblical Courses". I felt sad for them... Not only about their own lack of education that it implied, also I do not think the realized how misplaced they were as the plaza is right in the middle of a law campus... Their day must have felt lonesome at best. Ouch...
