Ditto on the last one. I expected much more from Merrick Garland. And it's not that I dislike Biden or his administration, but he put in such good people I expected much more from the administration as a whole. The only one who really seems to be shining is Mayor Pete.
ReplyDeleteMaddie - If they don't throw that orange turd in jail soon, I'm gonna scream!
ReplyDeleteOMG! how slow is the justice sytem in USA and mainly for the white wealthy guys and here more as this twice empeached EX president.
ReplyDeleteAfter all in with he is indicted in many states and many courts and with the Jan 6 commitee and the Mar A Largo FBI search etc...
WTF is Merrick Garland is waiting for to prosecute this con man.
He did nominate a «special counsel» who will hopfully do the job and with the apperance of neutrality from the politic.
Biden need to be out of this scene and he did say that he would have nothing to do with the justice system.
Even then, the Orange turd is screaming all over his sheeps base the it's a «witch hunt» again and that the Dems are chasing him again.
More than time to shut up that big liar's mouth.
I wouldn't like to be on his lawyers teem who must be discourage all about their client being so selfish and childish.
Love the knock knock joke. My sentiments exactly regardless of the announcement he just made. That traitor should have been put away and dealt with as a traitor years ago. Every second that thing is free our country is at risk.
ReplyDeleteJiEL - It's frustrating as hell.
ReplyDeleteJr - That thing is also a huge embarrassment, too.
ReplyDeleteOur expectations for action against this orange traitor seem justified but the fact that it seems no one is pushing for any action is frustrating and maybe that lack is an indication of the failure of our justice system. I'm old enough to remember the McCarthy witch hunt era. Trump would have been in prison really fast even before impeachment for merely expressing his liking of Putin. I know us old guys are stereotyped as grumpy, old complainers about change in society. However, I think the carrot merry-a-largo golfer needs some chastisement. Perhaps at least a good spanking?
ReplyDeleteAnd to think they just put Elizabeth Holmes in prison for 11 years for fraud.
ReplyDeleteHe should get a hell of a lot more, and yet he's still free as a bird.
Taurus9311 - He needs a guillotine.
ReplyDeleteGF - See above. :-)
From a different perspective, I will offer this. Because most of us here witnessed the damage that was accomplished by this questionable man and want justice for perpetrating these acts, our system for that justice IS excruciating slow. But a stupid man with lots of money can prolong that process almost indefinitely. Remember. Merrick Garland was denied a Supreme Court position by partisan REPUGNANTCONS in the last year of Obama's administration. If he had done anything to T***P too quickly, the hypocrites that the GOP is would have tied up the charges against T***P in legal challenges, etc for months on end. Better to do the homework, however long it takes, so there will be no question as to his guilt. Now with the appointment of a special council to oversee this process from now on, that removes Garland somewhat from being framed as a vengeful AG hellbent on punishing the GOP dick(ator). Yes, I'm damned frustrated with the slow pace of this investigation, too. I am holding out for a punishing long prison term, but in the meantime I wouldn't shed a tear if the bastard's tiny evil heart would burst out of his chest wall and splatter KFC grease all over his beloved Mar-A-Lago and his family. Here's hoping the cameras are rolling if that happens.
ReplyDeleteMilleson - Very well said. There's an entirely different set of rules inside that beltway.
ReplyDelete#2 let's hope so, litterally in 2024
