I'd say that the pages of whatever "holy book" could be put at better use as toilet paper but, on second thought, that'd be gross to swipe shit with another shit.
ReplyDeleteEvery one of them makes perfect sense. The Religious folks don't like that. LOL
ReplyDeleteLaurent - Absolutely.
ReplyDeleteSaw a TV show on «The Bible» on History Channel and how it was written and all about the Black Sea Scrolls and scientist are unanimous, it was written by many scribs around 300 BC and 200 AD.
ReplyDeleteIt was before an oral transmission so many of the «stories» were biased and after, in the beginning of the Christianity, the Bible was chopped from the possages that didn't suit the religious authorities of the time.
The Enoch book was banished even if it has good things in it.
As example, the creation of the universe varies from 4 days to many other times like weeks or months. So in a science perspective is a real none sense.
The same day I saw a scientific show about the crucifiction of Jesus and there again NO evangelist who wrote the 4 gospels were not immediatly there in time of those events.
They relied on oral transmission and trancscript from any languages of the time.
No one of those 4 evangelist did comment the events exactly in the same way.
Not mentionning that the Bible and Gospels today came from a fabrication of an England king (forgot his name) who had cleaned it for his own advantage.
The Holy Bible and Gospels are the best seller «sci fi» book, nothing more.
JiEL - Wow, I really like your comment!
ReplyDeleteOH. That last one! Perfect. I also liked #2 and #3. Thanks, Rick. Keep on preachin' I'm all ears.
