Love that last meme!!!!
ReplyDeletewhkattk - Jerry and I love Columbo because of his "just one more thing" line.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the last piece. Most white Europeans still have it in their heads that the US was occupied before they landed.
ReplyDeleteUnknown@12:35pm - I understood what you meant in spite of the small omission of the word "not".
ReplyDelete@±Unknown,
ReplyDeleteI have many Europeans friends of mine and never they thought the first disvoverers of America were the firts one to come and live here.
More is to say that most of the Euroeans are more educated that some average USA's people. The often speak more than two languages and are more aware of history and arts like music and fine arts etc.
I find it very sad such comments when we know how some Americans are not that educated.
JiEL - First of all, Unknown made a typo. I knew what he meant to say.
ReplyDeleteI'm certain many Europeans of TODAY know that there were native people already here when settlers came from Europe. However, you cannot tell me that the Canadian settlers were more educated than the settlers of the Colonies. OR, that they thought more of the original natives.
Sometimes your snobbery is a bit too much.
That last one. Funny how THAT gets lost in the mix, the same way that the economy of this whole country is built on the labor of people we kidnapped from Africa and then enslaved. Grow up, America. Admit your fault. Own your sh*t.
ReplyDeleteJiEL - I want to apologize to you. I should not have jumped on you like that. I am sorry.
