People who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no longer have to wear masks inside or outside, nor do they have to stay 6 feet away from others, according to new guidance released Thursday by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Does that mean those Americans vaccinated at least two weeks ago -- meaning full immunity has kicked in -- can throw their masks in the air and hug all in celebration?
Not quite.
I still have some reservations about going mask less and being around a lot of people!
ReplyDeleteRad - Yeah, I worry that this will be like a green light to all the dickheads.
ReplyDeleteLuv chocolate - Same here.
In Montreal we have more one shot vaccinated people but not enough to go unmasked inside the groceries or other store. But going outside in a park or walking on a sidewalk, no mask is required. There are many that still wear masks to be sure to be protected.
ReplyDeleteI had my first shot of Pfizer vaccine on March 12 but even before I never wore a mask outside but I was always keeping a 2m distance.
JiEL - I think masks should still be worn inside businesses.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to wear a mask inside businesses. With a vaccine card available for purchase at $10 it's impossible to trust people I don't know. My compromised immune system could compromise me very quickly.
ReplyDeletewhkattk - Same here!
ReplyDeleteSad, that those who are refusing to get vaccinated continue to put those of us who have done the right thing all along... all along - at risk. No excuses. Get vaccinated!
ReplyDeleteuptonking - Abso-fucking-lutely.
