Those icebergs are very impressive.
ReplyDeleteNo.2 & 3 look like it was taken in Newfoundland as they often see those there.
How beautiful. So sad they are at risk.
ReplyDeleteBrrr... Although I see the the majestic beauty of the ice floes I let them to one of my brothers, the only sailor of the family. He's been navigating his cruise ship in the Antarctic Ocean for the past ten years or so, being based in Ushuaïa, but I never joined him, too chilly ; though I enjoyed going through the hundreds of pictures from that part of the Globe he passed on to me in order to illustrate the Website I created for his company. It made me wish to visit the canals of Chilean Patagonia someday.
ReplyDeleteThis sailor brother of mine has now been stranded ashore for more than a year due to 'you know what', to the delight of his latest female conquest... I guess one man's loss is a woman's gain :-)
BatRedneck - You're a web designer too? That is very neat. I hope your brother gets to sail again very soon.
ReplyDeleteIceland, Greenland, Canada, Russia, where are these icebergs, do you know it, Ricky?. They are fantastics!!!.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the posts!.
Henri - You are welcome. JiEL thinks a couple of these were taken in Newfoundland. The others could be anywhere.
ReplyDeleteAnd JiEL is right: pictures two and three were taken in 2017 from south coast of Newfoundland-and-Labrador.
ReplyDeleteA bit more about it here (ici.radio.canada): https://bit.ly/3stk2ou
BatRedneck - Thank you for the link.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the answer, place where the icebergs were: in Newfoundland-Canada, and for the link.
