Greetings, Rick and Jerry, from your friend across the river. Well, that was fun!!! Yesterday I had a friend with 4 wheel drive get me to the clinic for my first covid shot at 2:20p.m. At 3:00 they closed the clinic. Spent the evening with the driver, his husband and their new 4 week old daughter. Heaven. Walking across the street to my house, could tell today would be a snowmagedon and it didn't disappoint. 15 inches here in Orchards, even too much for this size queen! Not worried though, have to be somewhere on Thursday, roads will be clear then with warmer temps on the way. Hope all here in the Portland metro area are safe and warm and well fed. Had brief power outage this morning, all is good now. Please, please, if and when your opportunity comes, Get the damn covid vaccine. This is important y'all. Most of us will only experience a little tendereness at the inoculation site. Do your part to get past this so we can be with each other again, closer than 6 feet and without the masks. Heaven awaits!

Brrr. The high is six below here. Hate this weather. Has been this way for over a week and things don't get much better next week. I need me some spring, dammit.
Milleson - I enjoyed your story of the events for you yesterday. I'm glad you made it to the clinic to get your first vaccination. Jerry is scheduled to get his second shot this coming Tuesday. I'm on the list for sometime in March. Even after vaccination, we'll all still have to practice distancing, masking, and hand washing for a while. I'm glad you are doing well.
GF - Ice is the worst. We had a smattering of snow followed by freezing rain. Our garage door is frozen shut! But we're well stocked and don't have to be any place, so that's good. Take care.
