During the Orange Ogre administration... Elon Musk made 171 billion MORE. Bezos? 70 Billion. So... why are people hungry? Why do we have homeless people? Why are our roads falling apart? Elon. Buy Detroit and fix it. All of it.
uptonking - I totally hear ya. It's all very disgusting. (You're probably aware that Musk has surpassed Bezos as the world's richest man.)
This so USA's sometimes nonsense.
We Canadians have 10 times less population and not so many very wealthy people but we have universal healthcare and more social advantages too.
The fear of «socialism» badly led some Americans to turn out of helping ALL of the Americans no matter their wealth.
I know from a gay couple friends of mine living in Delaware and republican deep beleivers, that «why should I pay to help those poor people that cannot work and try to get advantage of me....»
And the worse it that they are Christian believers too...

JiEL, you very well know that selfishness most often speaks louder than reason and logic.
Just as most people consider 'sharing' as a public act that should be acknowledged and rewarded with benefits.
Well we've got news for them: sharing is the kind of investment you make that provides outstanding benefits.
There are satisfactions beyond money, such as the true meaning of "the greater good", even in small acts or behaviors.
