  1. I am speechless. Just one of the saddest days... ever. I was shocked to see these pics. It brings it all back home again.

  2. I'd never seen Pic 5 before...the man falling to his death from the building. Did he fall? Jump? So many were faced with a "choice" of either jumping to a quick death or a slow, horrific one by burning to death. I just can't imagine...... Brings it all back.

But don't apologize for posting it, though. Like the Holocaust photos, we all need to see them and remember.

  3. Rich - You are welcome.

uptonking - Yes, very, very sad day.

Purple Wolf - We'll never know what went through that person's mind on that awful day. Photo 4 was the one I'd never seen before; everyone trying to escape the smoke. Maybe one of them was the person in Pic 5. Truly terrible.

  6. Here in the UK, we too will never forget that horrendous day, many of us watched in horror as the events unfolded, both shocked by the destruction of each precious and individual life..but also witnessed courage and bravery that typifies the American spirit....as 'Limey' I am proud to be able to call you all our 'cousins'...!

  8. Here in France I will never be able to forget this terrible day of September 11 ... In 2018 something very special happened to me: I had a Franco-American friend who loved tea and teapots ... at the end of August 2018, I found on Ebay a very special teapot identical to the one he had at home. I was working that day of September 11 at the office when our switchboard operator emailed me to let me know that a package had arrived from Oregon for me. The message was dated September 11 at 3:59 pm Paris hour (9:59 am New-York hour) ... exactly the time the South Tower collapsed... I was in shock for a long time ... My friend was working in the south tower that day ... I will never forget that fateful day ... in memory of him and all the humans who died... Peace to their soul, we love them ... Francois

  10. It was a horrific day. One we should never forget - just like we do not forget Pearl Harbor, or the 1800 marines who sacrificed their lives in France during WWI.... Not that that lying sack of shit int he WH cares about any of it.
