You can picture the Clampetts of the Beverly Hillbillies driving down North Beverly Drive in their jitney, with Mr Drysdale on their tail and at the wheel of one of his Chrysler Imperials. :) - The Clampetts jitney was a 1921 Oldsmobile touring car, the car was discovered behind a farm feed store and modified into a flatbed truck for the show. During the Great Depression it was a common practice by some American farmers to modify old, used cars into trucks. -Rj
