  5. The first tunnel with the train tracks is in the Carrizo Gorge in the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, east of San Diego, California. . The tracks lead to the Goat Canyon Trestle. I have hiked these tracks on several occasions. The easiest hike to the trestle is along the racks from Indian Hills area, which is 14 miles round trip.
