Years ago I actually met somebody who kept quoting the Bible at me as if he expected it to have some effect, even though he knew I didn't consider it an authoritative source. I think he just didn't have anything else to use. The conversation stuck in my mind mostly because of how incredibly thick the guy's Southern accent was, not that that really means anything.

When Christian nationalist politicians start enacting legislation, it's basically forcing you to eat shit and telling you it's sweetcorn.
I have that first one as a pennant that put on my flag pole (in lieu of the Donald J. Trump Sex Doll).
ReplyDeleteIf GOD created the world and all in it, they HE created science to explain things to us, IF we want to listen and learn from his divine plan. Science is logical, revealing, and "explaining", pure and simple. "Faith" is at the other end of the spectrum and open for interpretation. "Big Pharma", like "Christian Nationalists", have perverted these things to their perceived benefit, to get what THEY want. ALL good things can be easily perverted by "hidden agendas", even when those agendas are in the light of day.
