Obviously fake.

Hayward's Military Pickle is a traditional British pickle, historically a popular brand of mixed pickled vegetables including onions, gherkins, cauliflower, and often fruit like sultanas and dates, flavored with ginger, chili, and turmeric, and typically preserved in a sweet and tangy vinegar.

  1. I remember that last ad! Brought back memories.

When I was a kid, "Eating like High Society" was when my Mom would buy those little jars of shrimp cocktail that came in the fancy jars, and serve them on a doily covered glass plate. Ooo! That was FINE DINING in our house!

  2. Chef Boyardee...the most sugar-filled and disgusting "italian" stuff there was.

  3. I still keep a couple cans of Chef Boyardee in the pantry for those instances when I want a quick lunch that I don't have to think about.

And that first one...that can't be real...

  4. Despite the ad trying to make it look elegant, the corned beef hash looks disgusting.

  5. Hayward’s Military Pickle was a standard condiment in Britain, similar to chutney and piccalilli. Mum use to add it to some stews. Haywards no longer produces Military Pickle but they still make pickled vegetables.
And today Military Pickle is made by other food companies.
Hayward’s the best of Britain. 🇬🇧

  6. The first ad would have been better if they had used a vintage box of Trojans.
