ReplyDeleteTo tell you how groomed are those MAGA sect addicts: yesterday my gay friend (and his husband Ken) phoned me to say that they bought a new SUV to replace their 2013 GMC Terrain that they were naming «Mildred». They bought a 2025 Ford Bronco and when I ask him if they named it as the old one, he said they called it «MAGA Mildred»... This is how deep they are a MAGA Retrumplikkan gay couple. I just hold on to laugh at it or maybe vomit when he said it.

DeleteMy experience with neighbors has been the maga types and their ilk are the worst.
ReplyDeleteWe had neighbors who despised Obama when he first ran for President, the vitriol had to be heard to believe. Not to mention magas in my own family who still go on about Hillary. I can’t begin to tell you the filth they have called her.
We have had immigrants from India and Peru as neighbors. People who kept to themselves and were pleasant, at one time helping fix my car and another time giving me a ride to work.
We’ve had redneck neighbors from Hell. Smoking crack pipes in the driveway, throwing firecrackers under parked cars and on wood shake roofs in summer, to talking loud on their cell phones to let you know everything about them. Not to mention times they were gone, not on vacation but spending time in jail.
Tragedy as well. An immigrant family from Mexico had a baby that got very sick and they were afraid to go to a hospital in fear of being turned in to immigration. A maga type neighbor would torment them.They never told any of us in the apartment complex their baby was sick. The next thing we know the mother was screaming in their apartment and the police were called. That’s when we found out the baby had died :(
To this day I wish they had told me, I would have taken that baby to the hospital myself and told the doctors it was my kid so the baby could get the urgent care it needed. Racists and their shit have deadly consequences in many forms and ways. And to think the magas and others of their ilk call themselves pro-life, what a sick joke that is !

Sad to say that this is USA today for bad reasons. For the last baby case, this would never happen here in Canada as even immigrants can go safely to a hospital to have their child cared of. We have universal healthcare system for ALL people in Canada. We welcome immigrants that are coming here to work and add to our Canadian way of living and contribute to Canada's wealth.

DeleteIt was mentioned by a dog person that in a group of dogs, the group looks for ONE "lead dog". Where that lead dog goes, they happily follow. That is MAGA, to me. BUT being human beings, they should have enough gumption to know right from wrong and should not be "taken for a ride" by their current "lead dog".
ReplyDeleteAnother issue is that I suspect that many of them are really insecure in their lives, for whatever reason, yet they do not want to admit that. So they seek out people who appear to be "strong and powerful" as compensation. They do not question, just follow. Not worrying about where they might be led in several months or why. As many "hold their nose" and follow anyway as they need him to keep their jobs. Which further proves how unfit to serve that THEY are, too.
The reason they traded-in that "wimpy" compact SUV for a Bronco is that the Bronco has a masculine image about it. Moreso with the various off-road packages. No matter the reviews. Lots of flat body panels to which political stickers can be stuck onto.
When MAGA says something is "great", ask them how and how many. Ask them if they know that China is becoming the world power on the seas and has quietly started running many non-American sear ports of entry? That China is emerging as a "good world power" many smaller countries can do sane business with, as "bully countries" get all of the publicity? That China is becoming more of a leader in many industrial areas, as green energy, including electric vehicles. If they know how much money T has wasted by tearing out green energy charging stations in this country, Waster money is not efficiently-spent money, as we ALL paid for them. Then also remind them that China is still a Communist country, and all that means. As Russia is, too.
60+ years ago, the USA was bout defeating Communism on the world stage. Showing other countries how "nice and better" we were with our foreign aid and generosity, to keep Communists from getting their foot in the door with these smaller countries. It had been proven that isolationism was not a good foreign policy for the USA, period.
Ds and Progressives look toward the future, for a better way of life for all, usually. Nothing radical about that, unless you don't want to spend money to INVEST in that better future! Lifting ALL boats in the process.
