Delete47 TACO did exagerate the LA prostest so he could sent military and trash on Newsom and the mayor to show his MAGA base that he is in control. Honestly from here in Canada it was obvious that the LA protesters weren't very numerous and mostly peaceful. 47 felon was in Brag and again was whining over again and the worse is the reactions of those military there. What is going on in USA?

I hate myself for being such a pessimist but I fear where this is going. We appear to be heading into another dark age in our history, when the current administration is hellbent on creating conflict to keep the civilian population in a constant battle within the country. All the needless show of muscle and power in Los Angeles will not end peacefully. The ineptly planned deployment of troops into the city and not planning for their food, lodging and basic hygiene needs speaks volumes for the rash stupidity of the people who sanctioned this escalation in animosity between the civilian population and armed troops. This regime may be targeting aliens and immigrants, but if ordered to do so, our troops will use lethal force to shut down demonstrations, marches and protests, as they did at Kent State in 1970. From this point forward, when we as a group take a stand to voice our opposition to the unlawful actions of our current president, the reality will be that some of us will not be returning to our homes and family after the lawful actions of our fellow citizens. My hope is that none of what I've written will take place, My hope is that our gatherings of resistance across the nation will be peaceful and signal to the powers that I do not see making any headway at quashing the actions of the few, will know this needs to be stopped by any means available. I hope...Ojala...J'espere...Spero...Ich Hoffe...Ya Spodivayusya...and every other language in this crazy world.

DeleteRicky, you know attendance isn't mandatory, each of us must do what our conscience tells us to do, and that includes a sense of security and medical issues. I can't avoid this one, I have to have my number count. I'm not worried. I'm 77, single, no family or mate. If I can't make it out of a dangerous situation that may arise, so be it. They can still count my number as an attendee who became a casualty. What rational person wants to live in a country under the control of the current billionaire warlords and their suck-ups? I'm gawd damned serious. This fucking nightmare needs to end!
