Well, I have to admit that I was impressed with the Tiny Home Tour in the first video; it seems to address most of the reasons that I dismiss the Tiny Home trend in general. For instance, I like that everything is on the ground floor - no steep, scary ladders or cramped, tiny lofts that try to disguise themselves as "bedrooms." It seems spacious for it's small size and is well laid out with thoughtful, well designed choices and I like the fact that it has a full sized stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Granted, the refrigerator is more "European" sized rather than American, but certainly big enough for one to two people to keep a cold food supply.
ReplyDeleteI still DO NOT think Tiny Homes are viable for a full time option for the vast majority of people, but I could see myself sticking something like this on a piece of property as a weekend vacation "getaway" or something like that.
