    1. Yes Pat, and I will add that men in denim who voted for republicans and tRUMP have no room to complain if they can't sell their crops this year because of the tariff debacle, and those voters live in 3/4 of my state which they sparsely populate. The Seattle/Tacoma area and most of the corridor west of the Cascade Mountains are true blue and getting bluer. Farmers who tend to be Conservatives will need to rethink their reluctance to vote for Progressives and Liberals, but many will not be moved from their beliefs that the Repugs work for them.

    2. Not only the tariffs on crops that will be hard to sell to China and other countries BUT to be able to brow them they will need postash from Canada to fertilize them which is also victim of tariffs from that «genious» deal maker and fake economist crazy man.

    3. The government will spent billions bailing out the farmers when they have no one to sell their crops to. Why should they change their political affiliation?

    4. What I failed to mention is that DOGE has already made cuts at the USDA and farmers may find future subsidies and payments have been cancelled. Another segment of the population that will be impacted and feel the pain of this administration. There is no monetary benefit for tRUMP and his colleagues to continue the bailouts.
