  1. The fourth meme. That pretty much says it all. I hope you have a wonderful Easter Day anyhow. For me Easter has always been just enjoying the beauty of the spring season and enjoy a good cooked meal with family

  2. Years ago, my father asked me to go to Mass because Easter is the holiest day of the year. "The first Sunday, after the first full moon, after the vernal equinox. Real holy Dad." He never asked me to go to Mass again. (But I still love him very much) (My dad, not Christ).

  3. I like the last one, pointing out how the Biblical story is such an obvious scam, but there are lots of people willing to be taken in by a scam – see the first one.

  4. Many of today’s religions and their religious holidays, observances, symbols and stories have their basis in the pagan religions of antiquity going back eons in a form of religious plagerism.
And the gods of the ancients are not pleased. Isis will flood them with her tears, Sekhmet will bring forth pestilence, Serqet will have her scorpions sting them, Seth will conjour chaos and violence, Enki will taint them with mischief, Ishtar will have the rays of the Sun burn them, Vidar will have his vengeance and Odin will give them wars.
And just think religious zealots in ancient times tormented and murdered the innocent just like the religious zealots of today. They learned well from the ancients

  5. Easter coincides with Passover, because that is when the Crucifixion occurred. So what if it's not observed on the same date every year? Think of it as being like Presidents Day, which probably doesn't mean anything to you either.
